Sohar Residential Complex |
A township consisting of 28 luxury
villas and two apartment buildings, located at Liwa, a satellite
city of the fast expanding area of Sohar in the Sultanate of
Oman. The project is estimated to cost a total of 4 million
Omani Rials, with individual villas having a floor are of 300
sq.m each, consisting of ground, first and penthouse floors.
The project is proposed to be marketed as freehold property,
to GCC nationals. EIDC's involvement in the project covers a
broad range of activities starting from initial feasibility
studies to marketing support services. |

Seven Seas Commercial & Residential Complex at Hamariya |
The project is proposed to have commercial and
residential spaces to be let out on rental basis. The location
of the project is in Hamriya, Oman and it is proposed to have
a gross built up area of 25,000 Sq.m. Residential apartments
comprise 1,2 and 3 bedroom units. The offices are proposed to
be modular for rental and sizes to be flexible. The building
should be high tech and should have a modern character. |

Commercial building at Qurum |
The building is proposed
to be constructed on a premium plot of land in Qurum,
as a high class commercial facility, with showrooms on
the ground floor and offices on all the upper floors.
It is expected to become one of the most sophisticated
and sought after facility in the fast developing area
of Qurum. The building will be of a modern character both
externally and internally, with the offices and showrooms
provided with all the latest facilities like BMS, voice
and data with structured cabling, video conferencing facilities
and so on. The building is proposed to cover a built up

College Campus Development |
EIDC has been involved in the development of
the Caledonian engineering college in Oman (a subsidiary of
Glasgow Caledonian university), from its beginning, including
campus 3 masterplan development. Currently, EIDC is carrying
out the project management and design for the campus development. |

of the students’ accommodation facilities at the new university
complex coming up at Nizwa, in Oman. |

a multi purpose at the Dhofar university campus in Salalah. The
auditorium houses an auditorium with retractable seating and various
sports facilities. We are also providing structural engineering services
related to the various Dormitory buildings at the university.

in the Capital Area |
EIDC, with its associates fba consulting Dubai
and Architectus of Sydney are appointed for the Masterplan development
of this prestigious university development to come up in the
capital region of Oman. This will be the first private university
to come up in the capital region, which will be built on a land
measuring 500,000 sq.m., at an estimated cost of 100 million
Omani Rials. |

International Pipe Industries |
Is a major industrial facility
to come up at Sohar in Oman, that will produce specialised
pipes for the oil and gas industry at a project cost of 24
million Rials. It is the first of its kind in the whole of
the Middle East, to be built under South Korean collaboration.
EIDC designed the whole complex and are currently construction
supervision and project management services on this prestigious
project. |

build' contractor (EPC contractor) on this multi million Rials
project. EIDC's work involves architectural, structural and
building services design for 46 buildings on the project. The
project is well underway and part of the deliverables have already
been sent to the client. |

Stores & Warehouses at Musannah |
This project involves the development of a complex
consisting of large cold stores, warehouses and staff accommodation
at Musannah, Oman, for a A major wholesale dealer of meat and
meat products. The concept design of the facility is currently
well underway. The cost of the project is estimated to be 10
million omani Rials. |

Storage for Fairtrade |
This project involves the development of a
warehousing facility consisting of large cold stores and normal
warehouses for Fairtrade, Muscat. The concept design of the facility
has ben completed and we are currently progressing with the detailed
design. |

EIDC, in collaboration with fba consulting (Chennai,
Dubai and Sydney) are developing the masterplan for this prestigious
tourism resort project. The project site is located at Abunakeel,
Barkah sea front in Oman. The plot has a seafront of about 750
m, with a total plot area of 127,000 sq.m. This unique, eco
friendly, pollution free, self contained ‘village’
will be built with traditional Omani character, with all modern
amenities for living, including a four star hotel and a marina.

EIDC is appointed as the project
manager for this prestigious corporate office complex consisting
of a total built up area of 20,600 sq.m consisting top of the
range, high tech office spaces, being built in the prime land
adjacent to the ministry of housing in Al Khuwair, Oman. |

This project involves the development of a
complex consisting of cinema halls, multipurpose hall, commercial
facilities and hotel apartments at a prime location in AlKhuwair.
The plot of land for the development measures 6000 sq.m.and the
proposed development will have a total built up area in excess of
30,000 sq.m. EIDC is appointed to provide total consultancy services
for the project, involving architectural and engineering design and
project management services. The project is currently in the preliminary
design stage. |

This project involves the development of a
building complex consisting of offices, staff accommodation, warehouses
and stores for Swissboring at Barkah. The detailed design of the facility
is completed and the work will be tendered soon. |

EIDC is acting as the structural/service designer for the
'design and build' contractor (EPC contractor) on this prestigious project.
The structure of the building is based on moment resisting multistoreyed structural
steel frames, with blockwork infill panels. The project is well underway and part of
the deliverables have already been sent to the client for review. |

facilities for Shanfari Automobiles |
EIDC has been appointed by M/s Shanfari Automobiles
as their local consultants for the development of their showroom facilities in
various parts of Oman. Currently, EIDC is involved in developing their existing
Al Khuwair facilities into a ‘Chrysler’ approved showroom, with its unique
corporate identity. |

Building at Knowledge Oasis, Muscat |
We are involved in the project as the structural engineering
consultant on the project that involves the construction of a very modern, multistoreyed
reinforced concrete building with large column free spaces and extensive structural glazing.
The building will have a built up area of about 40,000 sq.m., with basement plus nine upper floors.
